Meet Veronica Talton
Educator, Artist, & Advocate
With over three decades in education, Veronica Talton has dedicated her career to integrating the arts into learning spaces in a way that inspires creativity, confidence, and cultural awareness. As a certified K-12 educator, she has worked across elementary, middle, and high school settings, developing innovative arts-based programs that engage students at all levels.
Beyond the classroom, Veronica has served as an arts administrator, leading summer academies, hiring teaching artists, and overseeing arts programs that uplift students and educators alike. Her expertise spans music, theater, and recording arts, where she merges traditional techniques with modern technology to create engaging and immersive learning experiences.
As a recognized advocate for arts equity, Veronica has received multiple awards for her contributions to education and community leadership. Her work extends beyond instruction and she actively engages in policy, ensuring arts funding is used to create opportunities for all students. Through Talton Consulting, she continues to transform education through creativity and inclusion.
Our Mission
Talton Consulting exists to elevate students' self-worth through the arts, particularly African American youth and underserved communities. By combining cultural history with creative expression, we empower students to see themselves reflected in the arts while providing educators with the tools to create engaging, inclusive learning environments.
